The Smith County Extension Office would like to extend a warm welcome to

Amy Shively who is our new Better Living for Texans Agent!

Amy Shively has been an educator for over seventeen years. She worked for Lindale ISD for the past 15 years. She has taught numerous classes, Health, Choir, World Geography, AP Human Geography, Psychology and Sociology. She has also coached numerous sports, Swimming and Diving, Powerlifting, Volleyball and Basketball. She is a mother of three. She is actively involved at Green Acres Baptist Church, where she teaches Sunday school and assists with the middle school choir. She enjoys being outdoors. She likes to swim and spend time with her family. She has a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from Dallas Baptist University and a Master’s in Education from LeTourneau University. She also received her Teaching certification and Principal certification from LeTourneau University. She is excited to be apart of the Smith County Extension Office and serve as the Better Living for Texans Extension Agent.
